The Merry Wanderer

The Merry Wanderer

In the loneliest of valleys, I have winded.

In the loneliest of valleys, I have tread.

In the loneliest of valleys, I have resided.

In the loneliest of valleys, I have made my bed.

Under the hottest of suns, I have strained with my load.

Under the hottest of suns, I have seen total dark.

Under the hottest of suns, I have longed for an abode.

Under the hottest of suns, I have dried as if tree’s bark.

On the deepest of waters, I have made it through.

On the deepest of waters, I have forged bonds.

On the deepest of waters, I have spent my time due.

On the deepest of waters, I have given my heart to the ponds.

Be the elements earth, wind, or water,

May the journey be pure for every Merry Wanderer.
